As most of you know I spent the last 16 weeks in very strict training in an attempt to qualify for the Boston Marathon. I logged over 500 miles during that time in the heat and humidity of Arkansas, Texas, Florida and even Mexico on a mission trip, often getting up hours earlier than normal to get my runs in. Dozens of times I was up as early as 4:15am even though I am most certainly not a “morning person” as you all know.

During my lifetime I’ve experienced a lot of successes. (A lot of failures too, but that’s for a different article.) I’ve run marathons, won tennis tournaments and lost 75 pounds. I’ve opened retail businesses, made a profit and sold them for big bucks. I’ve written books, became a respected internet marketer and made over a million dollars online.

That’s not to brag, but to set the table for what I’m about to say next.

The “success system” I have used for each of these includes the same seven steps. Whether I’m wanting to lose weight, complete a race, launch a new product or any of a thousand things, I use the same set of steps.
